3. Data, purposes and legal bases

3.1. Website use and technical logs

When the website is used, technical data may be processed, including IP address, access date and time, requested URL, browser, operating system and device information and technical server communication data.

The purposes are website security, proper technical operation, error diagnosis and protection against abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and properly functioning website.

3.2. Contact

If you contact us by email, we process the information contained in your correspondence, such as your name, email address, company details, position, telephone number if provided and the content of your message.

The data is used to respond to your enquiry, communicate with you, prepare a proposal and, where applicable, take steps prior to entering into a contract.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in business communication, responding to enquiries and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Where a legal retention obligation applies, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR may also apply.

3.3. Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse website usage, visitor numbers, the popularity of individual pages and traffic sources and to improve the website.

Google Analytics is not loaded before you consent to analytics.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Further details are provided in our Cookie Policy.

4. Recipients

Personal data may be disclosed to or processed by service providers required for operating the website and our business, including hosting and IT providers, email providers, Google Ireland Limited in connection with Google Analytics – only after consent – and, where necessary, professional advisers and public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

5. Google Analytics and international transfers

The provider of Google Analytics for users in the European Economic Area is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google states that for traffic from the EU, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, IP addresses are used to derive approximate location information and are then removed before the data is stored in Google Analytics.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the mechanisms and safeguards provided for in Chapter V GDPR are used where applicable.

6. Retention

Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where justified, for the period required to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Technical logs are retained according to the configuration of the hosting and security systems and no longer than necessary for the relevant purpose.

Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with the data-retention settings configured in Google Analytics.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability where applicable and to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, contact info@polandbusinesshub.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

8. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data when contacting Poland Business Hub is voluntary, but without the necessary data we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.

Consent to Google Analytics is voluntary. Refusing consent does not restrict access to the website.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions concerning website users based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them.

10. Security and changes

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, the technologies used or the applicable law changes.
